Each individual has different risk tolerances and levels of safety. Let’s hear it from Randal and Erik how they address this concern from an Real Estate agent’s perspective.

Erik:
Want to find out how to stay safe? Well, stay tuned.

Randal:
We'd like to talk a little bit about safety. What is safe? We're asked that question a lot. This is part of our license law. When someone asks us the safety of the neighborhood, we're very good and very versed at saying, "I'm sorry, but my license law does not allow me to comment on safety." Now we've been given this question in the age of coronavirus.

Erik:
We all have. We're all dealing with safety as far as health goes on a daily basis. Interactions out in the community, things like that.

Randal:
Absolutely. We are very keenly aware of everybody's risk tolerances, and that's, I think, the most important thing that we can do right now is help our clients and our consumers and our community respecting-

Erik:
Each other's risk tolerance for safety. So what might feel safe to me might not feel safe to you or to my clients or something like that, and that's important to understand. We all need to recognize that we all come from these differences. That's why when someone asks us, "Is the neighborhood safe," not only can we not say so because of our licensing law, but what's safe to me may not be safe to you, what I feel comfortable with. And that's the same with the current situation we're with and the health crisis.

Randal:
And so we have as a guidelines. We have the CDC, we have the state, we have local guidelines to back us up.

Erik:
Right.

Randal:
So making sure that we're providing an environment that you feel safe as well as keeping us safe.

Erik:
Yeah, doing our best. And then when we hear concerns from someone or we certainly want people to speak up and let us know what their comfort level is within those guidelines.

Randal:
So we have not decided for our clients in advance what is safe. Anyway, just a quick little thing to say we've got your back, we're here to talk about it, we're open to different levels of safety.

Erik:
Let's all be respectful of each other's histories and tolerance levels, and follow safe procedures that are out there and be respectful.

Randal:
Yep. So be safe out there, everybody, and thanks for watching. Until next time, stay tuned and stay focused.

Erik:
Stay tuned and stay focused.

Randal:
