All signs point to this fall being a good time to buy a home: low interest rates, less competition, more inventory, fewer multiple offers.

Randal:
So is this the sign you've been waiting for?

Erik:
Welcome to Stay Focused, Focus Real Estate's weekly video series.

Randal:
Every week?

Erik:
Week in and week out.

Randal:
Week out. Fall season is upon us and I can't believe I'm doing this again, but I'm going to do it again. This is the opportunity that you've been waiting for. I don't know how many times we're working with buyer clients in the spring season and they're like, I just can't compete. I don't have enough money to put down. I don't want to get into multiple offer situations. And where are they now? They signed a long term lease. No, this is your time to buy. Fall season, it happens every year. Many people are turning in during this time of the year. Right now we have low interest rates, we have lots more inventory than we've seen on the market in a long time.

Erik:
Less competition for buyers.

Randal:
There's less competition.

Erik:
A little more days on market.

Randal:
It's a little easier for buyers.

Erik:
Doesn't mean it's a bad market because the market's been crazy. It's a more normalized.

Randal:
It's a much more normalized.

Erik:
More rational market. So fall expectations every year. It's a little bit better opportunities for buyers.

Randal:
It's a great time to buy. So if you have any idea of making a purchase this year or actually those of you that are watching are probably thinking, I'm going to buy in the spring. Don't! Buy now. Now is that opportunity where you're going to be dealing with less competition, less multiple offers, and really end up in that house of your dreams maybe even before the holiday season.

Erik:
...that herd mentality.

Randal:
Yeah.

Erik:
Start looking now. And if you're a seller, just because expectations are a little more normalized doesn't mean it's a bad time to sell. We just have to set your expectations. They take a little longer. It's not that it's not going to sell or still get a good price. Just have realistic expectations.

Randal:
Thanks for that seller update as well because it's really important to realize the market has not fallen apart. It's actually just a little bit more normalized. So give a holler, let us know how we can help you get into that house this fall and until next time,

Erik:
Stay tuned.

Randal:
And stay focused.

Erik:
And stay focused.

Randal:
I just screwed this video up, but you can cut this part out, right?
