Thank you next, paper!  We (the people) at Focus Real Estate are officially done with handing out paper highlight sheets at open houses!  It was a tough breakup, but we did it, and are SO glad we did!   If you’re unfamiliar, a Focus highlight sheet once consisted of an 11"x17" piece of paper printed on both sides with an 8 ½" x 11" insert.  After taking a look at our records and discovering that we were going through about 11,000 pieces of paper a month, we knew something had to change.  Focus has now gone from printing over 250+ pieces of paper per open house, down to 5!  


Focus stays proactive in keeping up with the latest in real estate technology and likes to stay a step ahead of our competition.  We came to the realization that we needed to reduce our paper use and challenge ourselves to come up with a better way to showcase our properties.


At a Focus open house, guests aren’t given paper highlight sheets, but rather a QR code that pulls up an immersive listing presentation on their phones.   We’re producing such high quality videos and virtual tours for our properties that obviously could never be included in our paper highlight sheets.  By going digital, we’re able to incorporate these great pieces that really help market our listings to clients and also cuts down on our paper trail.  It’s a win win!
