 How to attract the right potential buyers


 

Erik:
Does your house have a mojo? Stay tuned.

Erik:
Welcome back to Stay Focused, Focus Real Estate's weekly video series. Today, we're talking about the law of attraction.

Randal:
That sounds very hocus-pocusy.

Erik:
Actually, we're talking about your home's law of attraction.

Randal:
It's very interesting looking at a career in real estate and watching what happens, right? So we're talking about the law of attraction, and what we often find is this. I've sat down with sellers, probably not unlike yourself, and they're like, Well, we really like this house and we really-

Erik:
We want to find some buyers that are going to like it-

Randal:
That are going to appreciate it.

Erik:
As much as we do.

Randal:
Exactly. And we want that, right? And I'm like, great. Then let's just clean up the house so that we make sure that we attract that buyer that wants to live like you do. Right? And then we get another seller. They might be just like you, that's like, "Randal, we want the highest dollar. We don't care what we need to do. Let's get this house to be as mass market appeal as we can so we can get the highest dollar." Great. We can attract that by doing certain things to your home. So law of attraction is really important when you're putting you're putting your house on the market.

Erik:
Yeah, that energy, believe it or not, and it does sound healy-feely, hocusy-pocusy.

Randal:
But have you met us?

Erik:
But, that comes across in everything from the photos to the online description, to the curb appeal, and it is going to either attract or repel certain people and the lifestyle by the way you're presenting your home.

Randal:
Absolutely. And we could go on and on and on about this, but really, that's this video, right? How you prep your home, how you live in your home, how you present your home to the world is likely going to attract someone very similar to the message that you're sending. So what message do you want to send? That's the question. Right? So let us know how we can help you send that right message and we'll prepare your house to bring that right buyer to you.
