FOCUS ON TRAVEL

Welcome to the "Visiting Artists in JP" blog series, where we spotlight talented artists showcasing their work at our Jamaica Plain office. This edition features the captivating exhibit FOCUS on Travel, presenting diverse perspectives on travel and nature from four remarkable photographers: Kate Carleton, Nadia Haq, Tom Hill, and Erik Gehring. Visit us at 34 South Street to explore this stunning collection and celebrate the creativity of these inspiring artists.

Kate Carleton

Kate Carleton began her journey in photography at the age of 12 and has since traveled across the world, capturing diverse landscapes, seascapes, and cultural portraits from Spain and Latin America. Her unique approach combines photography and pastels, resulting in visually rich pieces that blur the line between abstract and realistic. Kate has exhibited her work in multiple juried shows, curated by renowned institutions including the Danforth Museum and the Currier Museum of Art.

Nadia Haq

Award-winning nature photographer Nadia Haq shares her passion for wildlife and landscapes through her photography. Recently awarded the Gold Prize in the Comedy Bird Photo category of Bird Photographer of the Year, Nadia has documented her adventures from the Arctic to the Antarctic. Her work encourages viewers to connect with and appreciate the natural world, which she regularly shares on her Instagram and Facebook pages.
