Focus Real Estate: Hosts Cecile Ganne & Hilary Hanson Bruel of Newton Open Studios

If you're looking for something fun and artistic to do in the Boston area, look no further than Focus Real Estate's Newton office on 43 Lincoln Street. From now until April 30th, we are hosting two talented artists, Cecile Ganne and Hilary Hanson Bruel. If you're interested in seeing their artwork, feel free to drop by our Newton office anytime between 10am-4pm throughout the week. Additionally, on April 29th and 30th, our office will serve as a check-in location for an art exhibit by Newton Open Studios from 11am to 5pm.

Both artists have their unique style and use of media. Cecile Ganne, who grew up in France in a family of artists and sculptors, creates beautiful and colorful landscapes that invite viewers to escape into vibrant vistas. Her work is layered with oil, cold wax, and multimedia that accentuates the raw quality of the canvas. 

Hilary Hanson Bruel, on the other hand, uses encaustic paint and other materials to create multi-layered paintings that are studies in color, composition, and texture. Her work explores the ways in which we see, experience, and communicate color.
